Application for the generation of curved metal trusses in 3D, within the Tekla Structures environment; which includes 07 types of curves (Arc, parabola, catenary, 3rd degree polynomial (Cubic), 4th degree polynomial, Campaign and ellipse).
A set of standard metal sections/profiles (AISC 15) imported from the internal database is used, which make up the various elements of the truss (upper flange, lower flange, diagonals and uprights), purlins, tensioners, base boxes, etc
The arrangement of these trusses is uniform according to a predetermined spacing of direction and joined in a standard way by fastening elements to form industrial-type structures. It also has a module for calculating and structural analysis of gravitational and wind loads for a first design.
